MEET YOUR TEACHERS
I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Hickman Mills Alum, and graduated from the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration with emphasis on Project Management from Devry University In 2017, I received my certification in Early Childhood Education with emphasis in preschool. I am also currently being certified as an TESL Master (English as Second Language) instructor; CPR/First Aid certified. I have had the privilege of being a Preschool Director, and a teacher at an amazing preschool for the past 4 years. It was such a blessing to serve and get to know so many of the awesome families and staff. I also have 10 years of experience in a homeschooling, small group/one-to-one tutoring for students ranging from 3 years old through college. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, baking and anything crafty. My favorite color is red, and I do not have a favorite food, I would call myself a “foodie”. I enjoy trying new cuisines from different cultures and backgrounds. I love teaching because I get so excited to see the children mature, grow and find confidence in themselves and love to watch their innocence in learning about the importance of God and how they learn to worship in their own way. I don't take lightly the position I have been designated and with collaboration of the different families; we can, we will make a change and a difference!

Additional certifications include Being-A-Reader, Orton Gillingham, and LETRS. I am a family-oriented person who enjoys reading, photography, listening to music, singing, and creating visual arts in various forms and processes. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. There is no better feeling than to empower the minds of young people. It is crucial that every young person that crosses my path feels safe, valued, included, and heard. I absolutely love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else!
